Little Joys

Lately, I've become more mindful of the little joys in life.
Maybe it's an age thing, with an awareness that there is a time stamp on this body of mine. Maybe it's due to some maturation happening. Either way, I'm grateful.

The Simplest of Things
* Smelling the aroma of an orange, newly sliced open
* Watching the ever-changing vast blue sky, the clouds, the sunsets & sunrises.

* Listening to music my kids have composed, marveling at their natural creativity

* Watching the beauty of a lit candle.
* Feeling the joy of being a part of someone's healing journey.
* Having a warm cup of tea and some dark chocolate.
* Enjoying the satisfaction of having cleaned the windows, or some other chore that is finally done.
* Melting into the warm embrace of a loved one.
* Putting on wool socks my mother knitted when my feet get cold at night.
* Taking in the beauty of nature.
* Laughing at my own silliness.
* Enjoying being surrounded by different colors.
* Experiencing an ah-ha that brings a little more expansion to my mind.

What are your little joys?
Are you taking time to notice?

Warmly,
Tone-Lise
