Greetings,
We all know that emotions affect us and our quality of life. "Positive" emotions like love, joy, gratitude and inspiration can help us feel alive and connected. Stressful emotions like frustration, anger, fear, and despair are often challenging to deal with, but play an important role as "red flags" in our lives. All emotions have the capacity to affect our health for better or worse, so it's an important topic to address.
Emotional Release often comes up to be addressed for clients I work with. If it's a priority issue according to your innate wisdom, your body-mind is letting you know that it is ready and able to release stored or trapped emotions from a particular area of your body. This can benefit your health in several ways, including a reduction or even cessation of pain and a restoration of more energy. When our body and subconscious mind are holding on to a stored emotion, it's a bit like holding a basketball under water. It takes effort, which can leave us feeling drained.
According to Dr. Bradley Nelson, the founder of the Emotion Code, trapped emotions within our body is the least recognized underlying cause of physical pain. It has been linked with diseases like fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, and even cancer.
What exactly is a trapped emotion?
A trapped emotion is an emotional frequency that remains in our body as a sphere of vibrating energy. It happens when we're unable to naturally process the emotion. The size of this emotional energy sphere can vary, and the trapped emotions can be stored anywhere in the body.
How do we end up with trapped emotions?
When an emotional experience feels overpowering, we may not have the inner resources to deal with it at the time. Our body-mind does the best it can, and stores it until we're ready to more fully process the emotion. Less intense emotions can also become trapped when we are sick, tired, or feeling imbalanced.
Emotions are usually trapped in parts of our body that are already weak or vulnerable for some reason. An overworked organ, like a liver exposed to a lot of alcohol, is an example of a vulnerable area. Infection sites and inflamed body parts are other examples.
How do trapped emotions affect our health?
Trapped emotions can affect us both emotionally and physically. When, for example, anger is stored in our body, we are more likely to resonate with that emotion, and thus may more easily experience it.
The frequency of a trapped emotion can distort the normal energy field wherever it is located, and can therefore distort the natural frequency and function of cells and tissues in that area. This can cause physical problems, sometimes years later.
Trapped emotions can disrupt the natural flow within the body and weaken our immune system. These stored and unprocessed emotions are often the driving force behind issues like depression and anxiety. Trapped emotions can also lead us to be more easily triggered.

Next time it'll be landscape style. I plan to make more educational and hopefully inspirational videos about topics related to holistic and consciousness based healing.
May this year's spring cleaning include releasing trapped emotions!
Warmly,
